About Fashion Professional
I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic and focussed young person, who worked as a Personal shopper for Debenhams in Silverburn. I helped clients that booked in online to use our service, find that specific outfit they were looking for. The client could have been looking for anything from an outfit for a wedding to just having a complete wardrobe update.
A client would tend to book in if they felt they just needed a little help or a second opinion for an outfit for their special occasion. I loved this job as I got to meet new and interesting people everyday. I am a very creative person with an eye for detail. I am a people person with good listening skills and I enjoy helping and motivating others. An effective communicator, I enjoy giving advice and support to others. I have taken part on the Eco Chic Fashion Freak programme in which I gained a vast range of skills, knowledge and experience. As part of the training I modelled in a 1940’s and 1950’s fashion shoot as well as a shoot for clothing catalogue ASOS.
I have such a love and eye for fashion and get told I buy far too many clothes😂! I love vintage styles, boho styles, and everyday styles. I always try and find new ways of styling and not being afraid to mix and match and be comfortable with how i want to dress. I love being able to find even a simple something that makes that person happy and feel comfortable whether it be a single top or a full outfit, I just try my best and hope to make the client happy ☺️!

Work & Experience
I learned how to hand sew and how to use a sewing machine to stitch a range of materials. I learned how to make jewellery and how to make and sew a cushion cover. I was shown how to draw figure and fashion proportions for designs and how to make fashion mood boards. I made my own dress for a showcase we had on February 14th 2014. I had training once a week to work in the Eco Chic Boutique. This included till training, telephone etiquette, how to promote the Boutique and customer service.
I was hired by Next to work on their busiest day of the year, the Boxing Day Sale. My duties included greeting customers, helping them with enquiries, putting out stock and keeping the store tidy and presentable.
I worked for House of Fraser as a sales assistant. My main duties included: Excellent customer service, customer transactions – both cash and card, Closing the tills, stock takes, keeping the workplace tidy and aesthetically pleasing. I have also had the chance to work alongside the Visual Merchandise team during the busy Christmas period. This was a great opportunity to observe first-hand how another area in the store is operated. I also received 100% in a mystery shop that took place in 2017 in the specific department I worked in which was such a great achievement.
I worked as a carer for the elderly at Northgate House with the company HC- One. My main duties included getting the residents up, washed and dressed in the morning; Serving breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner; toileting; helping the residents participate in Activities; talking to the residents and helping them with their general everyday needs. I personally found this such a rewarding job. I loved being able to chat with the residents and hearing all their stories from their childhood. I felt that interacting with the residents as much as you can, just listening to them can make them feel more comfortable, appreciated and welcomed.
I was recently just cast as a dancer in a new Bollywood movie which was an amazing experience. This was such a great opportunity as I have now professionally worked on a film set and experienced what its like to perform infront of the camera.
